MailMeUp Desktop began as a weekend project and is now public as part of our ongoing R&D. It explores a clear boundary: selected email and calendar context, available locally through one small bridge instead of a hosted MailMeUp service.
You choose the accounts
Each person connects only the Google or Microsoft accounts and calendar categories they want to include, together with the appointments in those calendars. The project is designed around explicit, per-account access.
Local, not a hosted inbox
MailMeUp Desktop runs on the user’s device and uses a local MCP connection. It is an R&D project, not a hosted mailbox, marketplace service, or finished product.
Product concept
A bridge, not another place for your mail.
The direction is intentionally simple: selected providers connect to MailMeUp Desktop on the user’s device, then a compatible AI assistant can request only the context needed for the conversation. The illustration describes the concept, not a shipping interface.
