Scope and contact
This notice covers umbertogiacobbi.biz and applications and projects published by Umberto Giacobbi that refer to this page, including new releases. The listed examples do not limit its scope. Umberto Giacobbi is the contact for the website and data received directly, at hello@umbertogiacobbi.biz.
Permissions, processed data, local storage, external services, retention and controls depend on each application. Consult its documentation or dedicated privacy policy for the details; one project’s features do not automatically describe other projects.
The applications are distributed as open-source software to run on your own device. Publishing the code does not give its authors automatic access to installation data. Anyone configuring external services or managing an installation for other people must assess the processing they enable.
Website, analytics and contact
The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions, including clicks on contact and booking links. Loading the service involves communications with Google and may use cookies and browser identifiers, together with information about visited pages and the device.
Hosting and delivery services receive the technical data needed to deliver pages, such as IP address and request information. Links to GitHub, LinkedIn and Doodle lead to services with their own notices.
If you email or book a meeting, the name, contact details and content you provide are used to handle your request and any resulting agreement. Do not send credentials, complete mailboxes or unnecessary confidential data. Pre-contractual requests and agreed services are handled to follow up on the request or agreement; security and legal obligations have their own purposes and bases.
Google Privacy ↗AgentInbox
AgentInbox reads Google and Microsoft email and calendars and returns results to the connected assistant, which may forward them to its cloud service.
The dedicated AgentInbox privacy policy describes data, permissions, local storage, retention, sharing and deletion. Use that document for the app-specific details.
AgentInbox privacy and data ↗PromptMeUp
PromptMeUp stores settings, request and response history, commands and operational logs on the device. AI features send OpenAI the necessary context: the selected conversation, limited technical information and, in authorized flows, part of command output.
The program applies filters to recognizable credentials, but they do not guarantee removal of every sensitive item. Persistent history remains until the database or data folder is removed; ending a conversation does not delete it. The documentation describes paths, diagnostics and AI-service options.
PromptMeUp privacy and data ↗WorkTrail
WorkTrail keeps activity history locally on Windows. Screen capture and AI analysis are disabled by default. When you enable AI, the context and images allowed by your settings may be sent to the selected provider.
Exports and sharing take place through features selected by the user. Configurable integrations include weather and remote diagnostics; the documentation lists the data sent and available controls. The default local retention for activity and screenshots is 30 days and can be changed in settings.
Local deletion does not remove exported archives, backups or copies already received by other services. Consult the project document for details on exclusions, retention and deletion.
WorkTrail privacy and data ↗Recipients, retention and control
For applications, data and retention periods depend on the installed version, settings and services you choose. External providers may process data in other countries: review the notices and terms for your account before connecting them.
Communications received directly are retained to manage the request and any later relationship, taking account of applicable obligations and the need to document agreements. Browsing and analytics data also follow the settings and rules of the services involved.
For personal data received directly, you may request information, access, correction or deletion and, where applicable, restriction, objection and portability. You may also contact the competent supervisory authority. Write to hello@umbertogiacobbi.biz and identify the website or project concerned. For data kept only on your device, use local controls; for copies held by external services, contact the relevant provider too.
This page is updated as the projects evolve. Linked documents describe the current-version flows; for earlier versions, consult the documentation included with the relevant release.
